This poster series uses subtle irony to comment on environmental exploitation and pollution. The three motifs, depicting a fish, a bird and a bat, look like watercolour paintings. The most striking thing about the motifs is the face mask worn by all three creatures. Painted in simple brush strokes, this small aid, which people are currently using in the fight against COVID-19, is enough to convey the serious message in a clear yet humorous manner. Since the human race is not learning from its mistakes in its dealings with nature and the environment, the creatures’ only choice is to protect themselves.
