“These headphones impress with lossless audio streaming thanks to integrated Wi-Fi functionality,” said the jury, explaining Unity’s award. The wireless over-ear headphones use a novel “full-fidelity” wireless audio standard to transmit uncompressed sound from the Unity audio software platform to the device in high resolution at up to 24 bit/192 kHz. The hardware is also designed to optimise the listening experience: the ear cups have been created to physically reduce external noise and thereby support active noise cancellation. Memory foam ear cushions with cooling gel and soft microfibre fabric ensure high wearing comfort.
