The profile of the RainSport 3 is designed in such a way that it squeezes out as much water as possible from the road contact surface, thus enhancing wet grip. The tyres therefore provide a high degree of safety against aquaplaning. A large number of tread edges support tyre grip. Turbulence is suppressed by surface patterns that optimise water flow by means of shark skin technology, while cross-channels are further conductive to quick water displacement.
