Type USA

Type USA is a design festival devoted to typography, bringing together type enthusiasts to learn from particularly skilled type creators. The visual identity for the 2019 series of discussions, workshops and exhibitions focuses on type as a pictorial force to make people engaged in the event. Through spatial effects and the prominent colour red, the script appears like a built unit, an image in itself beyond the actual meaning of the words. At the same time, with its perspective representation, the bold lettering conveys dynamism and movement.
