“Rethink” is the current motto of the 2021 issue of the annual TWELVE. Not only the articles follow this concept, but the entire magazine. In order to realise this requirement, the issue was made available to the artist Jonathan Meese as a canvas without specifications for his creative work. The result breaks with the usual habits of viewing and reading a magazine. Thanks to the artistic approach, the concept of “Rethink” is implemented innovatively on every page and thus aims to inspire the reader to think in a new way beyond content and form.
