This robot-assisted laparoscopic surgery system consists of a control console, a four-armed robot unit and a video system trolley. The control arm and a foot switch on the control console give the surgeon complete control over the instruments on the robotic unit. Various safety precautions ensure precise handling of the system. The three-dimensional representation of the surgical field enables spatial vision of anatomical structures. All dimensions of the robot can be adjusted to the surgeon’s body size, surgical habits and working position.
