Telescopic Tent
In the post-event of earthquakes, floods and other disasters, simple tents will provide relief for the victims, but the process of setting up traditional tents can be complex and tedious. Telescopic Tent provides a new type of emergency tent solution with a folding compression structure. It can be easily stretched out in length by two people to form a sturdy and durable shelter, or compressed back the same way for easy storage.
In its retracted state, the thickness of the compressed tent is just one-twentieth of its expanded state. This makes it convenient and space-efficient to store and transport. Fully expanded, each tent module stretches out into two sections measuring 8 metres in total length. The height and width of the tent modules measure 2.5m by 2m respectively. To use the tent, simply open the inlet port and stretch out the tent, and then open the zipper of the tent to enter. To meet different demands and capacity, each module can be buckled to another to form a larger module.
Telescopic Tent is made with a highly resistant and elastic waterproof nylon material. The window frames along the length of the tent has a local inflation structure that supports the window well. The doorframe is a lightweight high-strength plastic structure that supports the tent body. Two handles on each doorframe facilitate provides a place to pull for expansion, and a place to hold the compressed tent when retracted. Through a port at the lower right corner, the tent can be further inflated to prevent it from deforming.
