Swytch Kit

Consisting of a pocket-sized battery, a mount with integrated motor controller and a wheel with built-in motor, the Swytch Kit can be used for converting any conventional bicycle into an e-bike. The system uses pedal-assist technology: the pedal sensor mounted next to the cranks detects the cadence, while the motor controller draws power from the compact battery. The kit is installed by replacing the front wheel, mounting the pedal sensor and attaching the battery holder to the handlebars. Afterwards, the bicycle can be used as an e-bike. The jury described the Swytch Kit as “an environmentally friendly, easy-to-install solution”.
