The Star washing machine series comprises front-loading machines designed for optimised usability. It does entirely without traditional knobs and LCD screens, but uses interactive controlling options via smartphone and allows users to download and update various washing programmes on their smartphones. Furthermore, an intelligent sensor system determines the required amount of detergent depending on the weight of the wash load. A novel rinsing function speeds up the washing process and protects delicate clothes.
