The lightweight and durable SpiceSkate OKTO is designed to make riding the board imitate the body movements and feel of surfing. This is achieved by clusters of tension springs, called “capsules” by the manufacturer. They facilitate exerting a particularly smooth, balanced and powerful torsional force similar to surfing. Depending on personal preference, there is a choice of three interchangeable “capsules” with different torque strengths for different riding experiences – from playful carving to quirky high-speed manoeuvres.
