This airplane tableware was developed for Aeroflot – Russian Airlines and comprises a range of porcelain plates and bowls, glasses, cutlery and textiles. Inspired by Russian table culture, it embodies a contemporary reinterpretation with a minimalist appeal. The compact tableware is stackable for space-saving storage. It features reinforced edges to minimise the risk of damage and thus increase its durability. The weight was reduced by focusing on few, essential parts.
Statement by the Jury
Thanks to a coherent product concept, Skopkar yields an elegant overall appearance and also fulfils the sophisticated catering requirements in an aircraft.
