Skeleton Shoe

This innovative pair of Skeleton Shoes integrates intelligent simulation and an aerodynamic design module to effectively reduce windage resistance, resulting in extraordinary aerodynamic performance. In the Beijing Winter Olympics, the shoes set the best record of 4.58 seconds. The Skeleton Shoes pioneers the use of 3D titanium alloy printing on the sole, resulting in increased rigidity and toughness, as well as increased stud strength. When combined with the toe cap structure with a hydrodynamic profile, the staggered studs effectively improve the athlete’s propulsive force. By using the aerospace technology algorithm, it brings an extraordinary aerodynamic performance to the entire pair of shoes. The shoe body features a bionic mechanical guide line design — the toe cap and heel are made of streamlined TPU modules, and the guide line design is used in the midsole to reduce friction surface pressure. A wind deflector on the windward side of the heel improves the overall wind resistance coefficient of the shoe body. Using intelligent simulation, the sole is designed with a spoiler to allow for good air flow during high-speed movement that reduces windage resistance even further.
