With its extra-wide car body, the train provides ample space for seating and luggage. Large spacious aisles, information panels in Braille, and wheelchair lifts at ground level moreover guarantee barrier-free travelling.

Statement by the Jury

The SJ 3000 is an excellent example of an eco-friendly and, at the same time, highly ergonomic transport vehicle. The train stands out due to its light, maintenance-free stainless steel exterior, which does without painting and is easy to clean.
