Shadow Of Time

Shadow of Time is a wall clock concept uses natural and artificial lighting cleverly while also serving as a night light. When the user wakes up in the middle of the night or returns home from work to open the door, a beam of light hits the wall to enhance the warmth and emotional resonance of the home. During the day, the light on the product’s outer ring offsets the sunlight, and another spotlight illuminates the time. To save energy, the outer ring is turned off by default at night. When someone walks by, it will automatically turn on and serve as a nightlight. The most notable feature of this product is its expressiveness and use of lighting. The abstract contrast between time and shadow is used to concretise the concept of time, filling people with reverie.
