Merry Combo
SEVEN
SEVEN has an aerodynamically pure silhouette that is instinctively different from that of a typical SUV. The low leading edge of the hood, the single streamlined roofline and elongated wheelbase communicate a clear departure from traditional SUVs powered by internal combustion engines. The pure volume of SEVEN’s minimal forms contrast with its powerful stance and commanding, rugged presence. Wheels with integrated Active Air Flaps that deploy or retract depending on brake-cooling or low-drag requirements help to support SEVEN’s powerful road presence.
Even in the dark, SEVEN is easily identified by IONIQ’s signature Parametric Pixel lights, which display a Welcome Light Sequence on start-up. Parametric Pixels serve as a common design thread, connecting digital and analogue styles, and provide a reminder that every aspect of the design has been considered, right down to a single pixel.
SEVEN’s interior design priority is space innovation that offers more freedom, thanks to a design cue that pushes the wheels outward, extending the wheelbase to the third row as much as possible. The flat floor provides an alternative to traditional row-based seat configurations, resulting in a more fluid interior layout. The ‘pillarless coach doors’ provide a grand entrance to reveal a welcoming interior with a completely new dimension of space. These features collectively open up new possibilities for furnishing the interior like a premium lounge.
SEVEN also embodies Hyundai’s future vision of autonomous mobility. The driver’s seat features a retractable control stick that hides away when not in use. The ultra-slim cockpit and integrated screens create a lounge- like experience without the need for typical driver’s equipment. The seating arrangement is unusual for an SUV, with swivelling lounge chairs and a curved bench seat. The vision roof includes a panoramic screen that not only displays content, but also changes the overall interior atmosphere to ensure a relaxing and pleasurable journey.
