SEIRA
The innovative design of the SEIRA foldable bicycle helmet is inspired by the structure of a hive, where the individual components support each other. That gives the helmet its stability, and consequently it has the same safety certification as traditional helmets. SEIRA can be unfolded within seconds and folded together to just a third of its volume, allowing it to be stowed away easily. The foldable structure was made possible using military tarpaulins and ABS/PC.
Statement by the Jury
This helmet’s novel folding design makes it handy and practical and also gives it a distinctive futuristic look.
