Seaweed Islet

The rocky coast of Taiwan’s north-east is known for its seaweed. This work aims to build a brand for this local speciality by developing the packaging design for various seaweed-based products using gentle, harmonious colours and sophisticated embossing. Nine illustrations, which depict characteristic landscapes and sight-seeing destinations along the coastal region, catch the consumer’s eye. Combining the seaweed product with local culture highlights the brand’s local character. Enclosed ecological information rounds off the packaging concept.
