The ScanSnap iX500 is a document scanner that companies may use to digitise and archive a broad range of papers and records. At the touch of a button, it converts paper documents into PDF files which, via the integrated Wi-Fi interface, can be transmitted to Android- or iOS-based tablets and smartphones. Thanks to automated image optimisation, documents are already enhanced during the scanning process. Third-party applications can be integrated into the quick menu of the scanner software, enabling the user to select them with a single click or touch.
