The Saljen bathroom tap uses a plastic body to reduce costs while retaining the same high-quality internal components and fittings as the rest of the tap range. Standardised components support a long service life and upgradeability, for example to a more water-saving nozzle. The body, partly made of recycled plastic, enables for an expressive design that conveys the IKEA identity and allows for improved ergonomics.
