The basic idea behind the Russian TV channel’s slogan “On both sides” is to assess events from at least two different points of view. The relaunched logo-type, based on a plain polygon, creates the impression of volume. In addition, a dynamic system of logotypes was created in which they can change their forms according to emotional or functional aspects of the content. The changing modifications of the logotype form can also be used for animation effects: close-ups, motion, volume change. The dynamic graphics system is accentuated by an unusual colour palette. This is rare for TV channels and favourably distinguishes the identity of RTVI in its competitive field.
