The Rhythmic Atherectomy System is a variable-diameter bidirectional endovascular grinding system used for the treatment of severely calcified blood vessels. It consists of a high-precision rotary milling propeller, a modular replacement rotary milling head and a portable controller. The system adjusts the diameter and depth of the rotary mill to the patient’s vascular condition in order to maximise blockage removal and minimise tissue damage. The butterfly-shaped operating handle improves stability.
