The R5-PAR38-WHT combines the best characteristics of an LED lighting source into one unit, as the new heat sink technology provides improved heat dissipation. This both maximises the performance of the LED light source and extends the lifetime of the LED lamp, while, at the same time, saving energy. The heat sink consists of aluminium fin plates, which allows for 35 per cent less weight than standard PAR38 lamps. Due to the low heat development, the lamp can be touched without danger at any time. The design of the LED lamp is inspired by the shape of a blooming flower and features a low profile as well as a luxurious grey colour.
Statement by the Jury
The jury was convinced by the aluminium fin heat sink and its optimal heat dissipation, a property that is further enhanced by the flower-like design lines.
