The transformation of the natural material wood into a contemporary industrial product is what distinguishes the design the of the Q / Wood armchair. To achieve this, a single, fine sheet of wood is shaped to produce a three-dimensional form on both the horizontal and vertical planes which join the organically flowing curves of the seat to the side sections. The veneer covers a core of plywood with either grained beech or ash. The chair support is available in steel which is either chromed or painted black.
