The PS5 and its Digital Edition provide an immersive gaming experience with haptic feedback, adaptive triggers and 3D audio. In response to market demand, the updated PS5 is lighter, as well as more compact and scalable. It also offers energy-efficient features, such as a power-saving mode that reduces CO₂ emissions by 32,300 to 39,000 tons per year for every million consoles sold. Moreover, it provides an efficient USB charging mode, improved chip architecture, a solid-state drive and a 7 nm chipset.
Statement by the Jury
Without compromising on form and function, the revised PS5 is a lighter and more compact version of the game console, which is also more environmentally friendly.
