Petit Qoobo

Petit Qoobo is a therapeutic cushion robot. The design omits all characteristic features of an animal except for the tail, so as to give users leeway to imagine its appearance and personality themselves. The tail simulates non-verbal communication, similar to that between pets and their owners. When the robot is stroked, its tail makes various movements. Petit Qoobo also responds to sounds; and when cuddling it, the user can sense something like a subtle heartbeat, which makes the robot seem even more realistic.
