“Enduring, not ultimate form”: from “Industrieform” to Red Dot (1980 - 1997)
PANTUM Split-type Printer
Printers often consume significant desk space, with paper storage in desk drawers further cluttering the space. The SPLIT-TYPE PRINTER addresses this issue by separating the paper output device from the printer body.
This innovative design integrates the printer body with the desk drawer, retaining only the paper output on the desktop. The ultra-thin, minimalist paper dispenser can be held with one hand and boasts a quality aluminium alloy finish. The main printer body, embedded under the desktop, combines with the drawer and features a touchscreen on the slope for easy operation.
The paper output device connects to the main printer body via a paper feeding hole on the desktop. Once printing is complete, the paper is fed upwards through the transmission shaft into the paper output device. The paper then rotates 90° to be delivered to the desktop, completing the printing process. This design not only saves desk space but also enhances the aesthetic and functional aspects of the workspace, providing a cleaner, more efficient environment.
