The Nothing Phone (2a) is an upgraded version of the previous model with improved hardware and software. The rear cover is connected to the rest of the housing at a 90-degree angle, which increases stability. The introduction of the milk colour variant supports the seamless visual integration of the components into the white centre frame. The so-called Glyph interface under the transparent cover on the back uses LED strips to indicate, for example, the receipt of messages.
