Electric Lorry
New MAN eTruck
With the New MAN eTruck, the manufacturer is marking its entry into e-mobility with a solution for long-distance transport. A production-ready drive unit is to be presented within the next few months. The electrification of long-haul trucking would reduce up to 100 tonnes of CO₂ emissions per truck per year. The design of the vehicle was inspired by the polygonal pattern of the Alpine foothills. In the visual concept, the eye-catching red accents symbolise “high voltage”. The jury applauded the well-planned entry into a new technology in combination with a deliberately expressive design language.
