MODU

Modu is a toy that allows children to build their own, life-sized creations from blocks of foam material. It is comprised of blocks, pegs and wheels which, thanks to an innovative construction system, can be simply interconnected. The toy is interesting for all ages: babies are able to observe and feel it, toddlers can build their first, simple constructions, such as cars, rocking animals or similar items, and with increasing age the objects become ever more complex.

Statement by the Jury

Modu appeals with its minimalist design of components in contrasting colours. It is also fun since children can, on their own, fit together vehicles and the like – even ones large enough for their own use.
