The Melitta AMANO coffee maker is aimed at making manual coffee brewing easier. Its functionality fulfils the demands towards a ritual that is supposed to move all the senses. From the filter form and the filter ribs to the jug made of borosilicate glass, all components showcase a reduced language of form. The mount of the filter ring, which appears to be floating above the elegantly curved metal side posts, harmonises with the contours of the glass jug. Closing the drip stop ensures that the coffee is optimally dampened to unfold its full aroma.
