For the development of the Maverick smart glasses, the designers looked for a way to hide a wireless display device inside a classic eyeglass frame. The curved, lightweight polycarbonate visor boasts a high level of durability without compromising vision. The RX lenses are easy to clip on, and the slim temples can also fit inside helmets. Adjustable end pieces enhance the ergonomic fit. Maverick interacts with smartphone and smartwatch apps via Bluetooth, allowing the user to access information hands-free when on the go. The jury described the Maverick as “a user-friendly device with a dynamic look”.
