Cosmetics Packaging
ma&me Latte
These haircare products aim to provide a moment of rest for Japanese mothers under time pressure from the demands of housework, parenting and working outside the home. The custom of family bath time is interpreted as an opportunity for indulgence. Consequently, the packaging design does not feature any functional elements or child-focused images. Instead it is designed harmoniously in two complementary colours. Contrary to the norm of large bottles which stand out on drugstore shelves, these bottles are short in a bid to create a feeling of relaxation.
