Lenovo VIBE X2 Packaging

This moulded-fibre packaging was developed to house a new premium smartphone: the Lenovo VIBE X2. The design is clean and simple with subtle details: the whole box consists of four pieces, which are made from sugar cane and bamboo fibre. These are rapidly renewable resources, recyclable and biodegradable. The box is designed to be a trapezoid with an oblique contour, which reduces the size of the package and increases the minimum order quantity. Furthermore, the oblique shape functions as a display and allows consumers to reuse the box as a phone stand.
