Air Humidifier
Air Humidifier Series
Karl & Karl big by Stadler Form
Stylish and Effective
During winter, the level of humidity in our homes plummets. When that happens, a humidifier can restore ambient moisture and improve well-being. Karl and Karl big by Stadler Form are a new generation of humidifiers with advanced technology designed to restore and maintain an optimum indoor climate. The two humidifiers cater to variously sized rooms of up to 100 sqm and 150 sqm respectively. Despite their excellent humidification efficiency, they are powered with a DC motor that is both quiet and economical. The two units have an unusually compact and eye-catching design. Unlike conventional humidifiers they have a textile cover that exudes interior design appeal, which also convinced the jury. “This is a fascinating product because it doesn’t look like a technical appliance, it looks like part of the furnishings and blends into any interior design concept.” The stretchy anthracite grey cover is easy to remove and machine washable at 30 degrees. One of the humidifier’s user-friendly features is the generously sized water container with the capacity to hold 4.6 and 11 litres respectively, which can be filled from above during operation via a lift-up flap. Once the water container is empty, the appliance automatically switches off. Further smart functions include auto mode which, when switched on, ensures that the device automatically maintains a healthy humidity level of 40 to 55 per cent. For undisturbed sleep, Karl’s LED lights that indicate the operating status can be dimmed or switched off altogether. Wi-Fi capability connects the humidifier to an app, which allows the user to operate all the functions via smartphone rather than use the built-in control panel. Here, too, the quality of design impressed the jury: “At first glance you can’t see any buttons at all. The interface is very cleverly designed and integrated into the top frame where it is protected from knocks and accidental button pushing.” Last but not least, with their low energy consumption and replaceable filters made from plant-based and textile fibres, Karl and Karl big help to protect natural resources.
