Featuring the new A15 Bionic chip, the iPad mini is as powerful as it is portable. The Centre Stage follow mode for video calls is impressive. As users move, the camera automatically pans to keep them centred in the frame. When other people join the call, the view expands; and when they leave the field of view, the camera zooms back to bring the caller into the centre of the picture. The side-mounted stereo speakers deliver clear sound to support video calls, listening to music or watching videos. Two microphones support the voice during phone and video calls. The Apple Pencil attaches magnetically to the side of the iPad mini, so it is always at hand for sketches or notes.
