Kinetic Installation

The kinetic installation “ioNature” was intended to offer engaging experiences in a particularly huge exhibition space. The concept entailed the fabrication of 1,500 individual pots of robotic grass, which were to fill the booth space directly, instead of being placed on walls and desks. The resulting 2,400 square feet of interactive grass field turned into a metaphor for the company’s products. When people walked in the field, the grass responded to them by swaying back and forth to form wave patterns, evoking the impression of strolling through a nature field with a gentle breeze.
