Using the mobile phone as an example, INVENTARIUM explores the relationship with and the utilisation of resources, and the resulting consequences. The mobile phone, characterised by ever shorter life cycles, is examined and analysed; contained resources are highlighted and visualised using multimedia elements. The reference work, which aims to create an awareness of the use of information and communication technologies, has a premium hardcover design with thread binding; several graphics illustrate the findings.
