Instant Delivery System
The Instant Delivery System was created to address the issue of battery life in drone logistics systems. Battery-changing stations can indefinitely extend the travel range of drones. Additionally, ground service stations can be used to solve current logistical problems like keeping business hours, traffic congestion and unpredictable delivery times.
The battery changing station would be installed on the roofs of buildings to avoid taking up urban floor space. During bad weather, drones can be parked and stored at the station. The station is equipped with 12 sets of battery packs (72 batteries in total) that can be used to replace the drone’s batteries in less than 30 seconds. Batteries are kept in the circular array at the station to be charged and exchanged with the drones.
An automated warehouse, a drone storage hangar, a circular array charging cluster and an emergency power supply system are part of the ground service station that provides logistical support. The station would be installed in public areas such as community gardens and parks that have no impact on traffic. The station also allows customers to send packages directly using the control panel. Each drone carries up to 25kg of load and its propellers are designed as independent modules that can be easily and economically replaced.
