The goal of this project was to push the boundaries of conventional brand collaboration by creating an interactive showcase of innovative lifestyle solutions. The location for the “IKEA Pop-up Hotel” was a historic urban neighbourhood in the city of Taipei, Taiwan. Nine rooms on the third floor were designed to take a creative approach to meeting the specific household needs of families in different phases of life. These spaces were not just static exhibits of products. Rather, they were available as accommodation during the event, allowing guests to enjoy the rooms privately and at their own pace.
