The Hyundai Genesis takes its cues from the design philosophy “fluidic sculpture” and is characterised by harmoniously flowing lines. The front is dominated by a striking hexagonal radiator grille. The long, downward-sloping roof design smoothly transitions into a short boot lid, and the rear lights curve towards the sides to extend laterally. The interior is very roomy – an impression which is emphasised even more by the large panorama glass roof. The interior convinces with the use of leather, fine wood and aluminium.
Statement by the Jury
The mix of flowing lines and eyecatching elements like the radiator grille lend character to the Genesis. The spacious feel of the interior is convincing.
