The unique selling point of the HHOGene GPods earbuds is the RGB lighting that covers the entire outer surface of their stems. This feature is controlled by a chip that can transmit over 300,000 colour combinations. An app is used for selecting the brightness, the hue and the way in which the light reacts to the rhythm of the music. Interchangeable attachments known as “GPod Shells” make it possible to personalise the lighting by adding patterns. “The HHOGene GPods add a fascinating layer to the user experience, namely the playful use of light with its practically infinite possibilities,” said the jury.
