In contrast to conventional tattooing machines, the Hawk Pen is significantly quieter and vibrates less, while never-theless featuring high puncturing power and frequency. By rotating the grip, the optimal needle protrusion can be continuously set and altered. The pen-like form gives the user the feeling of drawing. The exterior consists of anodised aluminium, thus the surface is hard and particularly scratch-resistant.
