THEIA Packaging
GIFT LOOK
As online shopping and e-commerce become more widespread globally, the demand for cardboard packaging is increasing rapidly too. According to a survey, one major e-commerce company uses up to 30 billion cardboard boxes a year in deliveries. Furthermore, many of these packages have unused space that is used as ‘protection’.
On the other hand, the rapidly expanding second-hand goods trade often utilises used cardboard boxes. In both instances, cardboard packaging is generally treated roughly. Gift Look was developed with the idea that packages should be both reusable and remain aesthetically pleasing to recipients, transforming every package into a precious gift.
Gift Look adapts to various product shapes, ensuring maximum utilisation of space. Instead of cardboard Gift Look is made from recycled plastic, which allows the packaging to be reused many more times than a typical shipping box. The reusable ethos is even reflected in the packaging label, which is made from electronic paper. This allows the label to be reused over and over again, and also helps in protecting the recipient’s and sender’s personal information.
