The Germania E-Violin deviates from the standard skeletonised outline of most electrical stringed instruments. Instead, it reflects the traditional violin shape with a minimalist interpretation. Retaining the essential key reference points of a traditional instrument including feel and playability, it offers high ergonomic comfort, and replaces the ebony with flexwood, which offers comparable feel and sonic properties.
Statement by the Jury
The distinctive shape of the E-Violin turns it into a true eye-catcher. Thanks to the preservation of the original proportions – complemented by optimised ergonomics – it retains its classic playable feel.
