Garden Strimmer

This Strimmer range comprises of corded, Ni-cad and Lithium cordless units. Its innovative design combines a motor with a gearbox, which delivers greater performance, enabling the unit to cut through thick grass without stalling. For improved ergonomics, the weight is shared equally between both handles, reducing fatigue to the user. Further innovation is offered by a spring loaded adjustable secondary handle, which combined with a telescopic shaft allows the product to cater for a wide range of user heights and preferences. In addition the telescopic shaft allows smaller packaging sizes, and reduces use of plastic between head and handle. The industrial design approach was to create a visually modular design signature, yet allowing for differentiation. Variations include fixed or adjustable handles and two head designs, which use size and colour to differentiate between the various corded and cordless platforms.
