GALAMART – Hacking the Language of Hard Discounters
Galamart is a nationwide operating retailer in Russia which offers a multitude of goods and pursues the concept of a fast-changing product range. The challenge of the relaunch was to create a brand design system which is not only appropriate but even defines the hard-discounter segment’s true tonality and language. Unlike the usual strict brand guidelines, this system allows for a flexible approach with a design which is deliberately kept simple. From the clarity of its colours to its dynamic typography, it was possible to reproduce the visual identity to easily match the needs of any of the 200 stores.
