“Enduring, not ultimate form”: from “Industrieform” to Red Dot (1980 - 1997)
Future-X
HD Hyundai has introduced its Future Builder vision, a comprehensive transformation initiative. In 2024, HD Hyundai unveils Xite Transformation, a vision to revolutionise the construction industry.
The Xite Transformation focuses on three main goals: it aims to enhance site safety for zero-accident construction using advanced digital technologies, increase productivity towards zero idle time and site autonomy, and de-carbonise sites for net-zero future construction. FUTURE-X, a key element of this vision, is a cabinless piece of construction equipment designed for future autonomous sites, maximising productivity and sustainability.
The Excavator, Wheel Loader, and ADT share an undercarriage module with a 4X4 crawler and adaptive track system, suitable for uneven terrain. Its auto-balancing counterweight adjusts freely according to bucket loads. Equipped with radar, stereo vision cameras, AVM, and GNSS, FUTURE-X ensures site safety and enhanced performance. Circular torque indicators at joint areas allow easy recognition of torque and load amounts. Bio paint (in ‘Land Gold’) is used on exterior covers, and recycled/recyclable materials, including eco-rubber track shoes, are utilised throughout the equipment.
