This kind of special atmosphere is precisely what the designers of FOR Odivis, a bathroom series by ARTEFAKT, set out to create. The faucets are a wonderful example of designers taking a very sensitive approach to achieving a balance between technical precision, practical function and emotional appeal. In creating the design they focused on haptics, among other things, to ensure that the operating elements are inviting to look at and touch. At the same time, they remained true to the ARTEFAKT claim “Shaping Identity”, in order to also create a clear identity for this studio's product development. FOR Odivis makes this statement with its organic, sculptural design language. Like pebbles smoothed by forces of nature, the faucets and ceramic elements boast distinctive, yet gently rounded lines. They are surprisingly pleasant to touch in their different designs for the washbasin, bathtub and shower models. Also sharing a common design thread, the faucets can be harmoniously combined with all the other products in the collection.
