Factorybox creates new experiences from used goods. It is a compact printer and service that improves the experience of buying and selling second-hand items. An app allows sellers to easily create three different types of message cards to communicate with buyers, have them printed, and then delivered along with the items. By sending a simple greeting or ‘thank you’ card, buyers can learn more about the seller, their products and their sales history. Factorybox adds trust and reassurance to the trading experience, provides a new customer experience for buyers, and allows sellers to positively brand themselves. Professional sellers can sign up for a monthly subscription service that includes a set number of printing cards per month with their preferred designs. Non-professional sellers can easily get cards printed at post offices and convenience stores at a per-card rate and then enclose them right away.
