The poster series “Existence” tackles the issue of depression and coping with depression. All of the motifs are designed in black and white, and each of them depicts different aspects of the illness as well as related existential questions in a very individual way. As sketches or in reduced form, together the posters visualise and interpret the impact of depression and how to overcome it. The central symbol in the series is the semicolon, symbolising the development from melancholy essence to a new and free existence.
